Privacy Policy
Effective July 15, 2026
This policy explains what information GETOCK (the iOS app, its widgets, and the getock.app website — together, the “Service”) handles, and how. The short version: GETOCK does not ask for, and does not want, your personal information.
Information we do not collect
- No account or sign-up is required, so we never receive your name, email address, or password.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any other on-device data.
- We do not sell data of any kind.
Information handled automatically
The app and widgets fetch publicly available ranking data from our servers. Like almost every internet service, those servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, request time, and request path) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to identify you and are retained only briefly.
Analytics
The current version of GETOCK contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
No advertising, no tracking
GETOCK is a paid app. It contains no advertising, no ad SDKs, and no tracking of any kind — and we intend to keep it that way. You pay once; your attention and your data are not the product.
Third-party data sources
The scores you see are computed from publicly available statistics provided by platforms such as Steam, Twitch, and YouTube. This is public data about games, not data about you. The full list is on the Data Sources page.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above. Material changes (such as introducing advertising) will be noted in the app’s release notes as well.
